Management Connection

2008 MANAGEMENT CONNECTION
Monday, June 2nd - Wednesday, June 4th

OBJECTIVE
The Management Connection is in response to user input regarding a more attractive agenda for senior managers. To accommodate the busy schedule of senior management we have designed the Management Connection to be two and half days long starting with the general session on Monday. From the inaugural Management Connection in 2007, there have been improvements as suggested by the attendees. Based upon last year, the most attended sessions were New Product Cost Management, and ERP Interoperability, with the overall feedback to have fewer presentations with more time for discussion.

The topics for this year’s event have been expanded to the following:

  • Global Design
  • New Product Cost
  • PDM/ERP interoperability
  • PDM/PDM interoperability
  • Supplier Integration
  • Linking PLM Value to Corporate Objectives

Each 90 minute session will be facilitated by a moderator with multiple speakers and a panel discussion with Questions and Answers. The focus of the presentations will be to articulate lessons learned in the areas of “People, Process and Technology” and the “value” to the corporate objectives.

Suggested agenda for the 90 minute time slot

  • Introduction: 5-10 minutes by the facilitator
  • Presentation 1: 15-20 minutes
  • Presentation 2: 15-20 minutes
  • Panel discussion and QA

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Managers who are in the midst of planning or executing PLM implementations will gain tremendous insight from the topics covered. In addition, Management Connection will provide an excellent forum for discussing the business implications of PLM, and networking with senior Siemens PLM Solution architects.
