General Sessions
Starting Monday, June 2, and running every morning until the conference ends on Thursday, June 5, the conference’s general sessions give you the opportunity to learn about the state of Siemens PLM Software from the company’s executives. You can get an overview to all of Siemens’ PLM product lines and gain insight into the future technical and marketing direction of these software offerings.
The general sessions also will include presentations prepared by Siemens customers and PLM World members who have real world PLM experiences to share. The sessions will feature presentations by PLM World Premium Partners whose products and services are available to supplement your PLM solutions.
Special Interest Connections
Starting on Monday, June 2 and continuing through Wednesday and Thursday, the conference will hold Connections with technical tracks and break-out sections for user communities with special interests. Attendees will have the opportunity to choose between seven different Connection threads, including:
- NX Connection, a 4-day event with technical presentations, training classes and partner Vendor Fair that runs from Monday, June 2, to Thursday, June 5.
- Tecnomatix Connection, a 3-day event that focuses on digital manufacturing best practices and collaborative workflows for product design and interoperability; it runs from Monday, June 2, to Wednesday June 4..
- Teamcenter Connection, a 4-day event with technical presentations, training classes and opportunities to network with real-world Teamcenter users; it runs from Monday, June 2, to Thursday, June 5.
- Simulation Connection, a 3-day event with sessions specifically tailored for analysis and design engineers who employ Siemens PLM simulation software; it runs from Monday, June 2, to Wednesday, June 4.
- Velocity Series Connection, a 3-day event for users who employ UGS Velocity solutions that runs from Monday, June 2, to Wednesday, June 4.
- Developer Connection, a 3-day conference-within-a conference that features Siemens partners who develop software for the Siemens PLM platform; it runs from Monday, June 2, to Wednesday, June 4.
- Management Connection, a 3-day event that focuses on industry best practices for global product development; it runs from Monday, June 2, to Wednesday, June 4.
You can begin to register for the conference on March 3. At that time, you will choose which Connection you want to attend. However, you are not limited to attending events associated with the Connection for which you register. Signing up for a Connection simply gives you the chance to network with other attendees based on your area of primary interest. You are free to attend other Connection events at your discretion.
All Connection badges will include Sunday as your first day of the conference. The Management, Simulation, Developer, and Velocity Connection badges will also have the option of purchasing an extra day for Thursday.
Training Sessions
As always, Siemens PLM Connection provides free 90-minute training sessions for conference attendees. Running from Tuesday, June 3, to Thursday, June 5, these sessions enable attendees to learn more about Siemens PLM Software’s current product offerings. Attendees will have the chance to participate in hands-on demonstrations, ask questions and learn about the latest technology advances. Seating is provided on a first-come, first serve basis. No registration is required for these sessions.
In addition, Siemens PLM Connection will offer optional high-value training on Friday, June 6, for people interested in gaining in-depth knowledge about how to get the most out of their PLM implementations. Conducted by senior Siemens developers, there will be available five morning sessions, running 8-12 am available at a cost of $125 per class. Each session will be 4 hours long.
