NX 5 Product Template Studio

Product Template Studio is a new product from Siemens PLM Software, first released with NX 5.0.2, for adding a user-defined interface to any parametric NX model without the huge cost of customization coded from scratch. These user interfacescan greatly accelerate your efforts to reuse designs by making it very simple for users to pick up a new template design and very quickly understand how it should be used. Because the Product Template Studio creates these interfaces using simple graphical drag-and-drop techniques, the effort required to createthem is tremendously reduced (zero hand-coding is involved), and the productivity advantages are accessible to a much larger segment of our customers. This class will walk through hands-on examples of how to use Product Templates, how to create simple Product Templates using individual parts and assemblies, and discuss the deployment strategies using the NX Reuse Library, also new in NX 5.
