2008 Simulation Connection
Monday, June 2nd - Wednesday, June 4th
Objective
Simulation Connection is for engineers and managers, as well as designers and project managers responsible for using or specifying CAE tools to increase the development productivity. We recognize the value that attendees place on their time away from the office and in that regard, you will find a Simulation Track Agenda at this year’s Conference that will enable you to discover new techniques, evaluate complementary technologies, learn about future developments and network with Siemens users worldwide. Note that even a 5% boost in productivity delivers a positive ROI in only 3 months and will help your company gain a competitive edge!
The theme for this year’s simulation conference is “The Next Generation of Digital Simulation”, a reference to exciting developments in Siemens PLM Software technology. The focus will be about new “NX” simulation technology which will be of interest to NX users and I-deas CAE users who are looking to transition to NX.

Format
A packed agenda with Keynote presentations, user presentations, Siemens product development presentations, and training provides attendees with valuable information and knowledge. The Keynote presentations set the tone and demonstrate how industry leaders are solving critical problems of today and looking at new solutions for the future. In the user presentations, engineers show how they are using Siemens PLM Software products today to be more productive and innovative. With presentations and demonstrations of the latest product enhancements, Siemens product management helps users leverage new technology and shows the roadmaps for the future. Most importantly, Siemens product management connects with users to understand the critical challenges they are facing. The free training on Siemens PLM Software products enables users to evaluate new capabilities and see for themselves how other users are benefiting. Finally, informal networking opportunities abound and more formal focus groups are an opportunity to influence development directions while encouraging learning through a broad exchange between experts and the broader audience.
Presentation topics for the upcoming conference will include:
- Advanced simulation using NX, Femap, NX Nastran or I-deas
- Simulation process management using Teamcenter for Simulation
- Applications of analysis in design
- Test analysis integration
- Applications with partner software
Who Should Attend
- Users (end users and super users)
- Managers
- Administrators
- IT support personnel
who are using, or evaluating Siemens PLM Products and want to bring new information, ideas and best practices back to the work place.
A justification letter is available for download.
